On a fair coexistence of LTE and Wi-Fi in the unlicensed spectrum: A Survey

TL;DR: This paper presents an overview of the work appeared in the literature analyzing the impact of LTE on the performance of Wi-Fi and proposing solutions to mitigate such an impact and describes the main solutions that are currently being developed by standardization bodies and telecom industry.
Journal ArticleDOI

A New MPLS-Based Forwarding Paradigm for Multi-Radio Wireless Mesh Networks

TL;DR: This paper proposes a forwarding paradigm based on MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) which makes use of a novel mechanism, denoted as MPLS splitting policy, which allows to configure multiple next hops at an intermediate node, so that the incoming traffic is partitioned among the next hops according to predefined coefficients named split ratios.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design and implementation of WiMesh

TL;DR: The architecture of WiMesh and its features and capabilities are presented by illustrating the design and the usage of each of the provided utilities, and the design of the WiMesh libraries is illustrated.
