Journal ArticleDOI

Thermodynamics of crystallization of macromolecules of various degrees of coiling

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered the crystallization of flexible-chain molecules under conditions of molecular extension and characterized the molecular orientation by a parameter β that is the ratio of end-to-end distance to the contour length of macromolecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Porous structure, permeability, and mechanical properties of polyolefin microporous films

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the conditions used for preparation of polyolefins on their morphology, porosity, number and sizes of through-flow channels, and mechanical properties has been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Composite membranes with conducting polymer microtubules as new electroactive and transport systems

TL;DR: In this article, it has been shown that the relief-like character of the surface and the porous structure of polyethylene films provide very high adhesion of conducting layer to porous support.
Journal ArticleDOI

Capacitance properties and structure of electroconducting hydrogels based on copoly(aniline – p-phenylenediamine) and polyacrylamide

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of preparation conditions on the structure and capacitance properties of a pseudo-supercapacitor's electrodes have been investigated: the optimal amount of p-phenylenediamine was determined to obtain the network of swollen interconnected nanofibrils inside the hydrogel which provided the formation of continuous conducting phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of thin polypyrrole layers on polyethylene microporous films

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis and properties of polypyrrole (PPyr) layers, obtained by gas-phase oxidative polymerization, on the surface of a microporous polyethylene (PE) film are described.
