The fastest emerging communication infrastructure in today’s world comprises Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET). The performance of the VANET infrastructure critically depends on the routing assignment that is successful transmission of data from the source to the destination. The major challenges faced by these complex networks are battery consumption, congestion, trust management, and security, etc. In this paper, an enhanced reliable solution has been proposed for the problem of load management by introducing virtual machines into the network. The result analysis reveals that the proposed framework is efficient and has shown improved results over a load-balancing mobility model for VANETs existing in the literature. The network performance has been evaluated and compared using various Quality of Service (QoS) parameters such as energy, delay, and throughput.
