Recent studies on iron meteorites. IV The origin of meteoritic helium and the age of meteorites

TL;DR: In this article, the authors calculated the helium content of a meteorite as a function of radial distance and showed that the meteorite with the highest known helium content has a (cosmic-ray flux) × (time) product about three times the present day flux in neighbourhood of earth's orbit.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent studies on iron meteorites. III Determination of the uranium and thorium contents

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for the isolation of radon and thorium from 10 to 100 g samples of iron meteorites was described, and the concentrations of these elements were of the order of 10 −8 g per g of meteorite.
