Thermodynamic Data for Mn3O4, Mn2O3 and MnO2
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reassess the thermodynamic properties of Mn3O4, Mn2O3 and MnO2 based on new measurements and selected data from the literature and present the refined thermodynamic data for the oxides in tabular form at regular intervals of temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermodynamic properties of strontium titanates: Sr2TiO4, Sr3Ti2O7, Sr4Ti3O10, and SrTiO3
K. T. Jacob,G. Rajitha +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the chemical potentials of SrO in two-phase fields (SrO + TiO2) were measured in the temperature range (900 to 1250) K relative to pure SrO as the reference state using solid-state galvanic cells incorporating single crystal SrF2 as the electrolyte.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nonstoichiometry, defects and thermodynamic properties of YFeO3, YFe2O4 and Y3Fe5O12
K. T. Jacob,G. Rajitha +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Gibbs-Duhem relation was used to determine the Gibbs energies of three ternary oxides, i.e., YFeO3-delta, YFe2O4-alpha and Y3Fe5O12-theta.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discussion of enthalpy, entropy and free energy of formation of GaN
K. T. Jacob,G. Rajitha +1 more
TL;DR: Peshek et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the enthalpy, entropy and free energy of gallium nitride (GaN) formation and showed that the experimental technique employed detects neither the equilibrium partial pressure of N-2 corresponding to the equilibrium between Ga and GaN at fixed temperatures nor the equilibrium temperature at constant pressure of n-2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stress sensitivity of inductance in NiCuZn ferrites
N. Ramamanohar Reddy,M. Venkata Ramana,G. Rajitha,E. Rajagopal,K.V. Sivakumar,V. R. K. Murthy +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of external applied stress on the open magnetic circuit type coil with these ferrites was studied by applying uniaxial compressive stress parallel to the magnetising direction and the change in the inductance was measured.
