Measurement of the solar neutrino capture rate with gallium metal. III: Results for the 2002--2007 data-taking period

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the experimental improvements in SAGE since its last published data summary in December 2001, and combined analysis of 168 extractions through December 2007 gives a capture rate of solar neutrinos with energy more than 233 keV of $65.1$ SNU, where statistical and systematic uncertainties have been combined in quadrature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cosmic rays at ultra high energies (neutrino

TL;DR: The neutrino spectrum produced by protons on microwave photons was calculated in this article, and it was shown that a spectrum of extensive air shower primaries can have no cut-off at an energy E > 3 × 1019 eV, if the neutrinos-nucleon total cross-section rises up to the geometrical one of a nucleon.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the Event Observed in the Mont Blanc Underground Neutrino Observatory during the Occurrence of Supernova 1987a

TL;DR: In this article, the characteristics of the event detected in the Mont Blanc Underground Neutrino Observatory on February 23, 1987, consisting of 5 interactions recorded during 7s are discussed, and it is shown that the event can be explained in terms of detection of neutrinos emitted during the stellar collapse in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
