Evolutionary games on graphs

György Szabó, +1 more
- 01 Jul 2007 -
TL;DR: The major theme of the review is in what sense and how the graph structure of interactions can modify and enrich the picture of long term behavioral patterns emerging in evolutionary games.
Journal ArticleDOI

Propagation failure of traveling waves in a discrete bistable medium

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied propagation failure of traveling waves in a discrete scalar reaction-diffusion equation with a piecewise linear, bistable reaction function, and the critical points of the pinning transition and the wavefront profile at the onset of propagation were calculated exactly.
Journal ArticleDOI

Accuracy of the density-matrix renormalization-group method

TL;DR: White's density-matrix renormalization-group method is applied to the one-dimensional Ising model in a transverse field and a detailed picture is obtained of how errors behave as functions of the various model and algorithm parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase transitions between topologically distinct gapped phases in isotropic spin ladders

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider various two-leg ladder models exhibiting gapped phases and show that phase transitions occur when they interpolate between models belonging to different topological classes, and study the nature of these transitions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Period tripling in the bilinear-biquadratic antiferromagnetic S=1 chain

Gábor Fáth, +1 more
- 01 Dec 1991 -
TL;DR: Numerically the elementary excitation spectrum of the most general isotropic spin-1 chain with bilinear-biquadratic nearest-neighbor coupling is studied and a massless phase with a period tripling in the ground state is found to exist in an extended region around the LaiSutherland point.
