Evaluation of Capacitance and Dielectric Dissipation Factor of Distribution Transformers - Experimental Results
Gabriel Henrique de Faria,Matheus Pereira,G. P. Lopes,Jansen Villibor,Paulo Tavares,Ivan Paulo De Faria +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the capacitance and the dielectric dissipation factor (DF) of brand new distribution transformers tested in the past two years at LAT-EFEI High Voltage Laboratory were evaluated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Lightning withstand of medium voltage cut-out fuses stressed by nonstandard impulse shapes experimental results
TL;DR: In this article, the critical flashover voltage (CFO) and the V-t curves parameters are derived for 1.2 × 50 μs impulse shape, which represents overvoltages originated by direct lightning strikes on phase conductors or shield wires of transmission and distribution lines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of High-Frequency Oscillation Discrepancies Presented by Distribution Transformers During Lightning-Impulse Voltage Tests
M. P. Pereira,Gabriel Henrique de Faria,Jansen Villibor,G. P. Lopes,Estácio Tavares Wanderley Neto +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the cause of high-frequency oscillations presented by distribution transformers in impulse tests was investigated and internal imperfections, such as cavities and floating particles, were found to cause these oscillations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lightning withstand of medium voltage switches and cut-out fuses considering standard and nonstandard impulse shapes
Gabriel Henrique de Faria,G. P. Lopes,T. C. Rodrigues,Estácio Tavares Wanderley Neto,T. A. Nogueira,M. P. Pereira +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors divided the lightning discharge activity into two types: direct and side strikes, and evaluated the effect of side strikes on the insulation of electric power system equipment.
Patent
formulação sustentável de tinta eletrocondutiva
Alexandre Flauzino Júnior,Alvaro Antonio Alencar de Queiroz,Estácio Tavares Wanderley Neto,Gabriel Henrique de Faria,G. P. Lopes,Maria Elena Leyva González +5 more
TL;DR: A composicao de revestimento condutora as discussed by the authors includes nanoparticulas of grafeno disperso em agua that pode be aplicado in uma superficie do substrato for formar uma pelicula fina com propriedades eletricas diferenciadas.
