Internal-combustion engine drive`s waste heat utilizing method, involves loading operating gas heater of hot air engine with dissipated heat of exhaust gas of internal-combustion engine for producing torque

Gail Josef

But the hot air engines were not designed for combustion, and they were operated according to a stirling engine principle, where the hot-air engine formed an unit as an auxiliary engine of the internal combustion engine.
