An insertion auxiliary implement of the present invention includes: a tubular part into which a flexible endoscope insertion part which is insertable into a body cavity, and one of a treatment tool and a channel into which the treatment tool is insertable, are insertable; and a sealing member which has through holes for supporting the endoscope insertion part and one of the treatment tool and the channel in the tubular part, and which airtightly and movably contacts each of a periphery of the endoscope insertion part, a periphery of the treatment tool or a periphery of the channel, and an inner surface of the tubular part, and thereby maintains airtightness between a distal end and a proximal end inside the tubular part.

Coupling arrangements and connectors for establishing a substantially fluid-tight removable connection between a fluid port in a medical device such as an endoscope. Various embodiments of the connectors may be coupled to a fluid conduit that may be attached to a decontamination or reprocessing device used to flow fluid through corresponding channels in the medical device during the decontamination process.

An endoscope insertion aid includes: a tubular member which allows an insertion portion of an endoscope to be passed through in a manner being capable of moving forward and backward. A holding unit, which is provided on an outer peripheral side of the tubular member, can be inflated and deflated. A thread-like member, which is connected at one end to the tubular member and passed at the other end into a channel, extends from an opening of the channel. A thread-like member fixing unit which restrains the thread-like member and thereby restricts movement of the tubular member. A restraining member which supplies and discharges the fluid into/from the holding unit, being disposed to the insertion portion, being connected at one end to the tubular member, extends at the other end to the proximal end side of the insertion portion. A decontamination system including a test fixture configured to engage an endoscope in order to retain the test fixture thereto, wherein the endoscope can comprise a valve chamber and a valve removable from the valve chamber such that the test fixture can be inserted therein. The test fixture can comprise, first, a frame having a first gripping portion and a valve member analogue extending from the frame, and, second, a housing having a second gripping portion movable relative to the frame between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein the second gripping portion is configured to be moved toward the first gripping portion to position the housing in its unlocked position. The second gripping portion can be configured to be moved away from the first gripping portion to position the housing in its locked position such that the housing can engage a locking feature on the endoscope.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion assisting tool to smoothly facilitate an inserting function of an insertion part of an inserter in and out of internal organs. SOLUTION: An insertion assisting tool body is equipped with a connector 128, a seal member 124 and an air conduit tube 130. The connector 128 is capable of connecting an insertion duct 8 which communicates with internal organs and outside the body for examination, by the edge of the insertion duct 8 from outside the body for examination. A through-hole 122 communicates with the insertion duct 8 through the connector 128 and has a diameter greater than the outer diameter of an insertion part 22a of an inserter 22 to facilitate the sealing by the sealing member 124 between the through-hole 122 and an atmosphere within the internal organs through the insertion duct 8, to receive the insertion part 22a within the through-hole 122. One end of the air conduit tube 130 communicates with the through-hole 122, and the air conduit tube 130 is away from the through-hole 122 between the connector 128 and the seal member 124. The device is further equipped with an air feeding pump 136 and a pressure controlling valve 134. The air feeding pump 136 feeds air to the air conduit tube 130. The pressure controlling valve 134 is provided between the air feeding pump 136 and the air conduit tube 130 and is equipped with an actuation controlling mechanism to detect the pressure within the internal organs and control the actuation of the air feeding pump 136. Pipe line washing device for endoscope

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advancing/retracting assist tool for endoscope treatment devices configured that an operator can perform an operation of a treatment device without releasing a hand holding an insertion tube of an endoscope.SOLUTION: One end of an advancing/retracting assist tool 100 is connected to a treatment device insertion part 254 of an endoscope 200 by a first connecting member 120, and the other end is fixed to an insertion tube 220 of the endoscope 200 by a second connecting member 140. The treatment device 300 is inserted from the second connecting member 140, passes through a flexible tube 110 of the advancing/retracting assist tool 100 and a treatment device insertion channel 240 of the endoscope 200, and projects from a distal end of the insertion tube 220. An operator holds an operation part 260 of the endoscope 200 with the left hand, and holds a flexible tube 226 of the insertion tube 220 with the right hand, while holding a portion of the second connecting member 140 with the right hand. The operator can advance/retract the treatment tool 300 of the portion of the second connecting member 140, while operating the flexible tube 226 with the right hand.

Advancing/retracting assist tool for endoscope treatment device

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion aid and an endoscopic apparatus, capable of letting an insertion part of an endoscope be smoothly inserted into the deep side inside a lumen such as the large intestine and capable of achieving reduction of examination time, etc. SOLUTION: A balloon 10, which is held by a balloon holder member 32, is detachably attached to the outer surface around the distal end 9 of the insertion part 3. The balloon 10 side can be moved to the front of the distal end 9 by advancing/retreating a shaft 19, which is connected to the balloon holder member 32 and inserted into a second channel 18, on the proximal side, and the balloon can be fixed to the intestinal tract, etc. by feeding a fluid to the balloon via a fluid tube 31 whose distal end is connected to the balloon 10 and inflating the balloon 10. The endoscope 2 can be moved to the balloon 10 side by drawing the shaft 19 to the proximal side, so that the endoscope can be smoothly inserted into the deep side of the intestinal tract. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion aid and an endoscope instrument which permit a smooth insertion of the insertion portion of an endoscope into the deep side of a lumen such as a large intestine, and the attainment of the shortening or the like of a test period. SOLUTION: The endoscope instrument 1 has a first endoscope insertion aid 4 having a first balloon 6 and into which the insertion portion 3 of an endoscope 2 can be inserted, a second endoscope insertion aid 5 having a second balloon 7 and into which the insertion portion 3 of the endoscope 2 can be inserted. The first and second balloons 6 and 7 are expanded or contracted by fluid supply and discharge control by a balloon control devices 8a and 8b. Consequently, with the second balloon 7 expanded and held and fixed in the lumen, the first balloon 6 can move to the front side with great strokes where the balloon can be captured within a visual range of the endoscope 2 by advancing and withdrawing a shaft 21 by hand, the endoscope 2 can be smoothly inserted into the deep side of the intestinal duct.
