Localization of catechol-O-methyltransferase in the leptomeninges, choroid plexus and ciliary epithelium: implications for the separation of central and peripheral catechols.
TL;DR: The localization of COMT in the leptomeninges, choroid plexus, and ciliary epithelium is consistent with a role for this enzyme in the separation of catechol compounds synthesized in the central nervous system, from those of peripheral origin.

TL;DR: In this article, a variety of impact absorbing structures (IAS) and/or buckling structure arrays are incorporated into protective garments, vests and other items, which can greatly enhance wearer comfort, improve garment durability, improve wearer athletic performance, reduce cost of manufacture and minimize impact forces and trauma to the wearer's body.
