Quality 4.0: literature review analysis, definition and impacts of the digital transformation process on quality

Multiple measurements play an important role in continuous control systems. As a result, the selections of values containing biases are gained. Such biases are divided for random and systematical by their kind. The last one in their turn also contain different types. For the refinement of measurement results, a systematical part of instrumental biases should be avoided. To solve this problem, the method of process stabilization estimation by dimensionless criteria is offered.

Development of Systematical Biases Exclusion Methods for Technical Measurements

Currently, there are a large number of approaches that allow developing a business, structuring business processes, maintaining and improving competitiveness, quality of goods and services, achieve a high level of efficiency and effectiveness of the enterprise. For example, such approaches as process benchmarking, FAST technique, which is deciphered as a technique for rapid solution analysis, process engineering, process reengineering, process redesign, contribute to process optimization. However, there are still companies that do not provide complete management of the organization's business processes. Later, that can lead to certain problems. Therefore, today the current issue for organizations is the optimization of business processes. Such a process has a number of advantages not only for the internal management of the organization, but also for the external environment.

The introduction of information technology in business processes as a method of quality improvement

The key task of the organization's top management is the ability to make adequate and timely management decisions based on the analysis of information about changes in external and internal factors of the organization's environment (context). Management decisions are made by management based on the development of programs to mitigate significant risks and use existing opportunities for business development. All actions of the organization's owners and managers must be aimed at meeting these conditions. The speed of decision-making, the speed of reaction to changing market requirements, the development of an innovative product, and finally, the speed of fulfilling contractual obligations determine the main goal-to increase the competitiveness of the organization. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve problems related to the rational organization of information flows of the quality management system and the processing of all information relevant to the context of the organization. Solving these tasks is necessary to achieve effective management. Moreover, it is obvious that the solution of the first task is aimed at solving the second, and here it is necessary to note the predominant role of information systems and technologies that must be integrated into the quality management system (QMS) of the organization.

Information Systems and Technologies in Quality Management

Principles of creation and main mechanisms of implementation of a method of project and operational management for machine-building enterprises are considered. The method uses the model of the combined workflow determining causes and effect relationships between processes at stages of a lifecycle of creation of the complex technical system. All processes connected to development and manufacture are considered in the uniform project and production environment in which the process of creation of a product is implemented. The target function of the system created on the basis of a method is reduction of a cycle of creation of new products and minimization of project and production losses.

Development of science and technology requires the development of new methods of quality management. Along with already existing methods and quality management systems new approaches. Article showing some areas for improvement of the existing and creation of new tools, techniques and quality management systems in the light of the development of digital technologies. In particular, the combination of known methods of quality management (TQM, Lean Production and other) and information technology (methods of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CALS-technologies, ERP ( Enterprise Resource Planning), PDM-system (Product Data Management), MES (manufacturing execution system), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), EAM (Enterprise Asset Management systems) and others) allows you to create new principles for a modern quality management system.
