Journal ArticleDOI

A model study of the hydrogenation of CO over polycrystalline iron

TL;DR: In this paper, the hydrogenation of CO was investigated on an initially clean Fe foil in a CO/H2 mixture at a pressure of 100 kPa (1 atm) and temperatures of 460-750 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microreactor and electron spectroscopy studies of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis on magnetite

TL;DR: In this paper, the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis from CO and H2 (1: 3 mixture) at 1 bar total pressure and 570 K has been studied in a differential microreactor system on reduced and unreduced Fe3O4 (magnetite).
Journal ArticleDOI

A low-energy electron diffraction study of Fe(110): I. Experimental

TL;DR: The surface contamination on Fe(110) in UHV as observed using Auger spectroscopy is reported as a function of temperature as mentioned in this paper, and the accompanying LEED patterns are given and that due to CO or N2 contamination interpreted in terms of plausible arrangements of adsorbed molecules on the surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

A low-energy electron diffraction study of Fe(110). II. Theory and comparison with the experiment

TL;DR: In this paper, a dynamical LEED formalism is presented, which starts from a mixed momentum-coordinate representation and employs a KKRZ-pseudopotential to describe the electron-ion interaction.
