Hydraulic binders and building elements formed of non-traditional materials

TL;DR: In this article, a process for the formation of hydraulic binders and building elements comprising from 70% ettringite and up to 30% calcium silicate hydrates is disclosed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantitative determination of calcium hydroxide in the presence of calcium silicate hydrates. Comparison between chemical extraction and thermal analysis

TL;DR: In this article, the difference entre les valeurs d'hydroxyde de calcium obtenues par methode chimique (methode de Franke) and par analyse thermique en faisant intervenir une reaction partielle de l'hydroxde de calcine de calcium avec CSH au cours du chauffage of l'echantillon dans un intervalle de temperature preceding the decomposition thermique de Ca(OH) 2
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of some mineralizers on synthesis and hydration ofβ-dicalcium silicate

TL;DR: Etude de l'influence du fluorure de calcium, oxyde cuivrique et fluorure of cuivre sur la synthese de β-C 2 S pur and son hydratation is presented in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

DTA study of the influence of lime content of low-calcium fly ashes on the pozzolanic reaction

TL;DR: In this article, three low-calcium fly ashes, similar in fineness, glass content and chemical composition, except for the CaO content which varied from 1.9 to 9.3%, were hydrated at 20, 40 and 55°C, with and without added lime, for curing periods ranging from 1 to 70 days, to evaluate the influence of CaO incorporated into fly ash on the pozzolanic reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of some accelerating admixtures on the hardening of ß-dicalcium silicate

TL;DR: Etude du comportement hydraulique d'un silicate bicalcique synthetique en presence of trois additifs ajoutes separement a l'eau: fluorure de sodium, formiate de calcium, sulfate d'aluminium as mentioned in this paper.
