The objective of this study is to investigate learning factors (stability, attention and activation) in school by electroencephalogram (theta, alpha and beta waves) analysis during relaxed or concentrated. In order to measure electroencephalograms, MP 150 by Biopac and ECI Electro-Cap are employed. Three types of color temperatures (3000K, 5000K, 7000K) are used and 13 undergraduate and 12 graduate students are selected as experimental subjects. When subjects are relaxed during contemplation or concentrated during mental arithmetic, we compare with stability, attention and activation indices. The test results show that subjects were stable when color temperature is 5000K. Subjects gave best attention when color temperature is 7000K. Subjects activated well when color temperature is 3000K during relaxed attention. Electroencephalogram Analysis on Learning Factors during Relaxed or Concentrated Attention according to the Color Temperatures of LED Illuminance

This study is aimed at suggesting information about technical choices for designing LED camping lights based on emotional lighting contents of integrated IOT and design areas which take a central role in creation and knowledge based industries and the procedure for materializing them. ‘i-Light,’ a portable LED camping light, is ‘connected lighting’ connecting men, space and emotion and a smart camping light based on IOT and emotional lighting contents. ‘i-Light’ has two functions. One is about lighting for adjusting color and color temperature naturally and the other is about safety for detecting harmful gases. ‘i-Light’ also has various emotional functions for experiencing interaction and taste of light. For the purpose, portable LED camping lights were designed, first of all, and then a highly color rendering/full-color lighting module, a smart sensor module and an IOT device platform were developed. In addition, efforts were made to establish detailed data about emotional lighting contents and to develop a Web application based on them. Finally, prototypes of portable LED camping lights were made to get a test bench and usability evaluation from related organizations. According to the results, all of 12 developed emotional lighting contents and three IOT safety sensors were suitable and prototypes were satisfactory. Study on Development of LED Camping Light Design Based on IOT and Emotional Lighting Contents

LED에 의한 AtoN(Aids to Navigation) 시설을 높이에 따른 층별 색상으로 조화시키고 감성조명으로 표현하여 항해사의 표지식별에 대한 혼란을 방지하며 야간항만의 경관을 미화시키는 효과를 얻었다. 또한 선박의 항만진입을 인도하는 메시지를 전달하는 모르스 부호 발광의 기능을 부가적으로 구현하였다. 등명기는 반영구적인 고휘도 LED로 대체되므로써 수명과 소비전력에 대한 효율성을 증대하였다.핵심용어 : 항로표지, 감성조명, PWM, 듀티비, RGB전송프레임Abstract : This study on the methode is easied to distinguish with emotional visual lighting on AtoN facility using 3colors LED, and which is controlled to on-off switching of approach light in shore or harbor. The identification have easied to provide a differentiation between the AtoN facility of red and white light and surrounding light in harbor both sides. And the integrated controller have designed to left-right and serial sequential lighting system for harbor guidance using the GPS synchronous or timer. There is expectation effect that is prevent a confusion about distinguish of facility by ship's operator and to beautify a night scene of harbor, which is expressed to emotional identification lighting and variable color lighting on AtoN body by vertical layer color lighting using LED. In addition, the performance of AtoN is implemented to display with guidance light the harbor safety message by morse code lighting. An Implementation of the RGB Remote Controller for LED Emotion Lighting of AtoN Facilities

This study addresses the evaluation on the satisfaction of school illumination quality by applying SERVPERF model after extracting factors affecting school illumination quality. Three types of illumination systems (fluorescence light, general LED light and high color rendition LED light) were tested by students who have used each illumination system. Three factors such as effectiveness, esthetic sense and function were developed for evaluation. Satisfaction evaluation was performed based on applied SERVPERF model by comparing perceived levels. The differences of perceived levels of satisfaction on the illumination systems were analyzed by ANOVA. The results said respondents satisfy only the high color rendition LED light regardless of three factors. Especially, students who experienced high color rendition LED light have strong intention to recommend that illumination system to other schools. They also express their desire to use that system at home. Interestingly, there is not much satisfaction difference between fluorescence light and general LED light.

Evaluation on the Satisfaction of School Illumination Quality by Applying SERVPERF Model

이 연구의 목적은 백색 LED 조명의 광학적 특성을 분석하고 그 특성에 따라 반응하는 학생과 교사들의 감성 반응을 평가하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 백색 LED모듈 5개를 시제품으로 만들어 광학적 특성을 측정하고 감성 평가용 모형을 제작하여 감성 반응을 평가하여 분석하였다. 감성 평가에 이용된 평가 방법은 의미미분법이고 선정된 문항은 16문항이며, 이 문항의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 예비 실험을 통하여 신뢰도 분석과 타당도 분석을 하였다. 이 과정에서 4가지 요인을 추출하였는데 제 1요인은 활동성, 제 2요인은 안정감, 제 3요인은 역량성, 제 4요인은 감성이미지 요인이라고 명명하였다. 색온도에 따른 감성 평가의 결과는 활동성과 역량성 요인에서는 색온도가 높은 조명을 선호하였으며 , 안정감 요인에서는 색온도가 낮은 조명을 선호하였다. 감성이미지 요인에서는 색온도와 관련 없이 5800K인 청색 계통의 조명을 선호하였다. 연색지수에 따른 감성 평가의 결과는 활동성, 안정감, 감성이미지 요인에서는 고연색 조명을 선호하였으며, 역량성 요인에서는 중 연색 조명을 선호하였다. 【The aim of this study is to characterize the optical properties of white light-emitting diodes lighting modules and then to evaluate the sensitivity of students and teachers in reacting to the optical properties of these modules. For the sake of this study, each of 5 lighting modules was introduced to the 5 test cabinets. The 5 test cabinets were evaluated and analyzed the student and teacher's sensitivity reaction. We have selected If questions on sensitivity of the lighting and evaluated these questions with semantic differential method. To verify the reliability and objectivity of the questions, the feasibility survey was carried out by a preliminary test. As a result of the test, the sensitivities on the test cabinets were classified the 4 factors, namely, activity as the first factor, stability as the second one , potency as the third one and sensitive image as the fourth one respectively. By the evaluation of student and teacher's sensitivity on the correlated color temperature, they preferred the cabinet with the higher color temperature in view of the activity and potency. And they preferred the cabinet with the lower color temperature in view of the stability factor. In the sensitive image, they preferred the 5800K, bluish white lighting regardless of the color temperature. By the evaluation on the color rendering index, they preferred the cabinet with the higher color rendering index in view of the activity, stability and sensitive image. In the potency factor, they preferred the white lighting with the middle color rendering index.】
