Unfolding Transitions of Peripheral Subunit Binding Domains Show Cooperative Behavior.

TL;DR: This work has carried out molecular dynamics simulations to study the unfolding of three peripheral subunit binding domains (PSBDs) and shows cooperative unfolding transitions of these proteins, which are triggered by an initial melting of the C-terminal helix H2 and the consequent loss of interhelical interactions or native contacts.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Computational predictions of host-pathogen interactions using domain and sequence signature

TL;DR: The proposed method can be used to find novel HPIs between human cells and any eukaryotic pathogens and predicted several HPIs that are involved in host erythrocyte cytoskeleton remodeling, signaling and immune response.
