TL;DR: The measurement of the nonelectromagnetic forward-backward charge asymmetry in the reaction e/sup+/e/sup -/..--> mu../sup +/..mu../sup-/ at roughly sapprox.34.6 GeV and in the angular region 0 as mentioned in this paper.

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of a search for excited muons (..mu..*) and electrons (e*) and for a stable charged heavy lepton by measurements of the e/sup +/e/sup -/..--> mu../sup+/..mu../sup -/,..mu../Sup +/..m../sup-/m../Sup -/m.
Abstract: The results are reported of a search for excited muons (..mu..*) and electrons (e*) and for a stable charged heavy lepton by measurements of the e/sup +/e/sup -/..--> mu../sup +/..mu../sup -/, ..mu../sup +/..mu../sup -/..gamma.., ..mu../sup +/..mu../sup -/..gamma gamma.., and ..gamma gamma.. final states. Excluded are large regions of the lambda (coupling constant), M (mass) planes for spin-(1/2) ..mu..* and e*, and a new stable charged heavy lepton with mass<14 GeV.

TL;DR: In this paper, a direct test of higher-order QED at large momentum transfers (up to approx. 100 GeV/sup 2/) was presented, and the cross sections and various kinematic distributions agree with QED.
Abstract: A direct test is presented of higher-order QED (..cap alpha../sup 4/) at large momentum transfers (up to approx. 100 GeV/sup 2/). These tests were carried out with the MARK-J detector at PETRA by comparing the measured cross section for the process e/sup +/e/sup -/..-->..e/sup +/e/sup -/..mu../sup +/..mu../sup -/ with the prediction of QED for 12 GeV< or =..sqrt..s-bar< or =36.7 GeV. The cross sections and the various kinematic distributions agree with QED.
