Journal ArticleDOI

Heat capacities of aqueous acetic acid, sodium acetate, ammonia, and ammonium chloride at 283.15, 298.15, and 313.15 K: ΔC°p for ionization of acetic acid and for dissociation of ammonium ion

TL;DR: In this article, a flow calorimeter and a flow densimeter were used for measurements leading to apparent molar heat capacities and apparent molastic volumes of dilute aqueous solutions of CH3 CO2H, CH3CO2Na, NH3, and NH4Cl at 283.15, 298.15 and 313.15K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heat capacities of aqueous HCI, NaOH, and NaCl at 283.15, 298.15 and 313.15 K: ΔC°p for ionization of water

TL;DR: In this article, a flow microcalorimeter and a vibrating-tube densimeter were used for measurements leading to apparent molar heat capacitics and volumes of dilute aqueous solutions of HCl, NaOH and NaCl at 283.15, 298.15 and 313.15 K. Molalities ranged from 0.03 to 0.4 mol kg−1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heat capacities and densities of solutions of NaCl, DCl, and NaOD in D2O at 283.15, 298.15, and 313.15 K: ΔCpo and ΔVo for ionization of D2O

TL;DR: In this article, a flow microcalorimeter and flow densimeter were used to derive Cp, Σ∞ and VΣ ∞ for the solutes by extrapolation to infinite dilution.
