Peroxomolybdenum Complexes as Epoxidation Catalysts in Biphasic Hydrogen Peroxide Activation: Raman Spectroscopic Studies and Density Functional Calculations
Günter Wahl,Dirk Kleinhenz,Andrea Schorm,Jörg Sundermeyer,Ralf Stowasser,Christian Rummey,Gerhard Bringmann,C. Fickert,Wolfgang Kiefer +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, density functional calcula- tions and Raman spectroscopic data were correlated with the unique cata- lytic epoxidation activity of peroxomo- lybdenum complexes (MoO(O2)2(O- ER3)) (EaN, P, As; Ra n-dodecyl) in a biphasic chloroform - 1-octene/aque- ous hydrogen peroxide system.
Journal ArticleDOI
New Chiral C3-Symmetric Triols as Ligands for Vanadium and Titanium Complexes†
TL;DR: In this article, a series of model reactions were conducted to assess the catalytic properties of chirally modified titanium and vanadium secondary alkoxides and the reactions chosen were the addition of diethylzinc and of trimethylsilyl cyanide to benzaldehyde and the oxidation of geraniol and of ethyl phenyl sulfide with tert-butyl hydroperoxide.
Patent
Peroxo-containing metal complexes having amine oxide, phosphine oxide, arsine oxide, pyridine N-oxide or pyridine ligands as epoxidation catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the formula for epoxidizing olefins has the following formula (I): M stands for a metal of the 4th to 7th secondary group of the periodic table of elements; X stands for oxooxygen or imido ligands; m equals 1 or 2; and n equals 1, 2 or 3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Journal ArticleDOI
A Raman spectroscopic study of molybdenum and tungsten dioxo complexes containing related cyclopentadienyl and trispyrazolylborato ligands
TL;DR: In this article, Ramaman spectroscopic investigations of the complexes Tp*MO2Me, Cp*Mo2Me (Ma Mo, W), and Cp *WO2(n-Bu) (Tp*a hydrotris(3,5-dimethyl pyrazolyl)borate, cp* a pentamethyl-cyclopentadienyl, Me a methyl, n-Bu a n-butyl) are presented.
