Effect of deformation temperature on texture and mechanical properties of ZK60 magnesium alloy sheet rolled by multi-pass lowered-temperature rolling

TL;DR: In this paper, ZK60 magnesium alloy sheets with various texture states were successfully fabricated by controlling the rolling temperature in multi-pass lowered-temperature rolling, and the microstructure including texture and the mechanical properties of the resulting sheets were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evolution of microstructure, texture and mechanical properties of ZK60 magnesium alloy in a single rolling pass

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the evolution of microstructure and texture in a single rolling pass at rolling temperature of 250 ℃ and found that the activation of abundant stochastic stored dislocations with a broad range of orientations developed in CDRX was the main reason of the transformation from RD texture to randomized texture along - arc in inverse pole figure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Weakened anisotropy of mechanical properties in rolled ZK60 magnesium alloy sheets with elevated deformation temperature

TL;DR: In this article, the rolling direction (RD) and the transverse direction (TD) samples were obtained from an as-rolled ZK60 magnesium alloy sheet with strong anisotropy of initial texture and their mechanical properties were tested at various deformation temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of initial texture on the bending behavior, microstructure and texture evolution of ZK60 magnesium alloy during the bending process

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of initial texture on the bending behavior of rolling direction (RD) and transverse direction (TD) samples with distinct difference in initial texture were cut from differential speed rolled ZK60 magnesium alloy sheet and were subsequently subjected to the bending process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microstructures evolution, texture characteristics and mechanical properties of Mg-2.5Nd-0.5Zn-0.5Zr alloy during the high strain rate hot-rolling

TL;DR: In this article, the microstructures evolution, texture characteristics and mechanical properties of Mg-2.5Nd-0.5Zr alloy processed by high strain rate rolling (HSRR) at different temperature were systematically investigated.
