Journal ArticleDOI
Assessment of genetic and functional diversity of phosphate solubilizing fluorescent pseudomonads isolated from rhizospheric soil
TL;DR: A high degree of functional and genetic diversity among the phosphate solubilizing fluorescent pseudomonad bacteria is revealed, considered to play a vital role in plant growth promotion, disease suppression and subsequent enhancement of yield.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous phosphate solubilization potential and antifungal activity of new fluorescent pseudomonad strains, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, P. plecoglossicida and P. mosselii
TL;DR: Because of the innate potential of phosphate solubilization, production of siderophore, IAA, protease, cellulase and HCN strains reported in this study can be used as biofertilizers as well as biocontrol agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Green Chemistry Approach for the Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles Using the Fungus Alternaria sp.
Naresh N. Dhanasekar,Ganga Ravindran Rahul,Kannan Badri Narayanan,Gurusamy Raman,Natarajan Sakthivel +4 more
TL;DR: FT-IR spectroscopy analysis suggested that the presence of amino acids such as tryptophan/tyrosine or phenylalanine acts as the capping agent on the synthesized mycogenic gold nanoparticles, suggesting that the release of toxic and hazardous by-products restricts their use in biomedical applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence of Ampelopsis: Gene Organization, Comparative Analysis, and Phylogenetic Relationships to Other Angiosperms.
Gurusamy Raman,SeonJoo Park +1 more
TL;DR: The complete chloroplast genome of A. brevipedunculata is sequenced and used to assess the relationships among 32 angiosperms, including 18 taxa of rosids, and will contribute to better support of the evolution, molecular biology and genetic improvement of the plant Ampelopsis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of the Complete Chloroplast Genome of a Medicinal Plant, Dianthus superbus var. longicalyncinus, from a Comparative Genomics Perspective.
Gurusamy Raman,SeonJoo Park +1 more
TL;DR: P phylogenetic analysis of individual protein-coding genes infA and rpl23 revealed that gene loss or pseudogenization occurred independently in the cp genome of Dianthus, and demonstrated a sister relationship between Dianthus and Lychnis based on 78 protein- coding sequences.
