The modeling and measurement of lateral bipolar junction transistors

TL;DR: In this article, a physically based large-signal model for the lateral p-n-p transistor is developed and compared with DC and transient measurements, and the analytical equations for lateral and vertical parts of the transistor are derived.

A simple model for distributed base impedance with AC verification using S-parameter measurements

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple model for distributed quasi-three-dimensional base impedance that is general applicable for any bipolar circuit model and accounts for DC and AC base crowding is presented, and is shown to be self-consistent with parameter extraction using S-parameter measurements corrected by equivalent-circuit deembedding.
