Journal ArticleDOI

The kinetics of clustering and short-range order in stable solid solutions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the kinetics of clustering and short-range order in stable solid solutions from the viewpoint of a recent lattice diffusion theory and found that clustering kinetics display a wide spectrum of relaxation times.
Journal ArticleDOI

The influence of static atomic displacements on the diffuse intensity scattered by solid solutions

TL;DR: In this paper, the diffraction theory for solid solutions given by Matsubara and subsequently extended by Kanzaki and by Krivoglaz is used to examine the asymmetry in the diffuse intensity scattered by β brass and Cu3Au and also the satellite intensity diffracted by artificially produced silver-gold layered structures.
