Today the economic growth in many parts of the world has increased, especially in developing country, such Indonesia country. With increased economic growth, income and purchasing power of consumers also increased especially in big city like Jakarta. Increased incomes allow consumers to meet their secondary and tertiary needs such air conditioning (AC), washing machine, refrigerator with advanced technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, perceived price and brand image of the brand purchase decision on Japan's electronics are mediated by consumer trust. Population of this research is visitors of electronic city outlet in South Jakarta and questionnaires were distributed to 376 visitors Electronics City in SCBD and in Pondok Indah Mall using multistage cluster random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling ( SEM ). The results showed that there are product quality and perceived price have significant and positive effect of the purchase decision; product quality, brand image and perceived price have significant and positive effect of the customer trust; customer trust has significant and positive effect of the purchase decision; no effect of brand image of purchase decision;  product quality, perceived price and brand image of the purchase decision mediated by consumer trust in electronic products of Japanese brand

Effect of product quality, perceived price and brand image on purchase decision mediated by customer trust (study on japanese brand electronic product)

This research integrated the Social Cognition Theory and the Engel Kollat Blackwell customers’ purchasing model (EKB model) to synthetically discuss the three kinds of possible relations comprising “does negatively entice”, “does possibly entice” and “does positively entice” between green-marketing and customers’ purchasing and payment, with consideration given to environmental-protection issues. Based on the measured results, the most contributed contention of this research not only utilized three cross-analytical theories consisting of the social cognition theory (SCT) , the Fuzzy theory (FT) and the EKB model, and the novel F-ANP of the MCDM methodology to evaluate the collected data but it also manifested that Green-marketing does possibly entice customers to pay more (GMPECPM). These measured results have distinctly stunned the fundamental assumption in the traditional green-marketing research field that customers were supposed to be willing to pay more for green products and services because they were supporting green initiatives and helping environmental-protection. Further, major future research directions were also briefly demonstrated in this research as (1) the collection data have to be strengthened to gather more empirical customer feedback, corporate management comments, and professional scholars’ reports; (2) enterprises have to resoundingly establish a green-branding initiative after successfully executing green-marketing strategies.

An empirical survey: Can green marketing really entice customers to pay more?

As a significant contribution to a firm’s long-term success, innovation has burst as one of the most important determinants of organizational performance. The important role of innovation in the success of firms’ business has resulted in the emergence of an extensive research on this subject. However, in most of the past studies on the issue of innovation, the focus was on innovation in manufacturing firms and less attention has been paid to service firms. The objective of this study is to do research on service firms and tries to explore factors that make up innovation capability in service firms and examine the relationship between those factors and innovation performance. Five factors were identified, that is service innovativeness, market innovativeness, strategic innovativeness, process innovativeness and behavioral innovativeness. Through questionnaires distributed by hand, data was collected from hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A total of 57 applicable questionnaires were collected out of 60 questionnaires distributed, indicating a 95 % rate of return. Multiple regression and Pearson Correlation analysis was used to analyze the data. Data analysis revealed that service innovativeness, market innovativeness and behavioral innovativeness have a significant relationship with innovation performance in hotel industry. However, strategic innovativeness and process innovativeness were not found to have a significant relationship with innovation capability. The result is consistent with previous studies, which found that organization with higher innovativeness have better innovation performance.

Furthermore, value evaluation by the weights of product form, operation, quality, safety, and purchase intention and product prices for strategy matrix analysis are often used in new product development. The Pricing and Marketing Analysis chart (PMA) collects the functional items and sales of data of enterprise products and competing brands to establish product database. With product prices and sales of the enterprise and competing brands as the analytic variables, market share, major enterprise products, and major competition products in the same setting price range will be analyzed through related data. The product marketing strategy squares can help make decisions for new product price, functions and marketing strategies. Through PMA, YAMAHA 125°c motorcycle is used as an example to illustrate how to conduct marketing strategy analysis to enhance competitiveness of new products.
