Indication of Adult Tonsillectomy & Postoperative Complication According to Indications
TL;DR: The incidence of complications varies according to the indication, patients underwent tonsillectomy for acute recurrent tonsillitis had increased incidence of postoperative bleeding and uvular edema, while patients underwent tonicectomy for upper airway obstruction had increase incidence of prolonged hospitalization and dyspnea.
