PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the distance between a first and a second point through linear interpolation. SOLUTION: First and second points are positioned between first and second latitudes. The radius of the curvature of a prime vertical circle, which is interpolated at the point between the first and second points, is calculated based on the radius of the curvature of a first prime vertical circle on the first latitude and the radius of the curvature of a second prime vertical circle on the second latitude. The radius of the curvature of a meridian, which is interpolated at the point between the first and second points, is calculated based on the radius of the curvature of a first meridian on the first latitude and the radius of the curvature of a second meridian on the second latitude. A cosine, which is interpolated at a point between the first and the second points, is calculated based on the cosine value of the first latitude and the cosine value of the second latitude. The distance between the first and second points is calculated based on the interpolated radius of the curvature of the prime vertical circle, the interpolated radius of the curvature of the meridian, and the interpolated cosine value. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method capable of improving a communication state at high-rise parts of a building being a construction object. SOLUTION: A tower crane 20 includes a swivel base 21 located on a tower 23, and a jib 25 using the swivel base 21 for a fulcrum, and installed adjacent to the building 10. The height of the swivel base 21 of the tower crane 20 is changed. An antenna 31 connected to a base station 30 making wireless communication with mobile terminals used by workers working inside the building 10 and relaying a communication signal between each mobile terminal and an external communication apparatus outside the building 10 is installed at a height of the swivel base 21 or over. Communication method in construction site

PURPOSE: To make it possible to establish the direction of an antenna quickly by receiving the radio wave from a navigation satellite, and detecting the latitudes and the longitudes of two facing antennas based on the radio wave. CONSTITUTION: A computer receives the latitude, the longitude and the height data of own antenna on the earth from a GPS receiver and receives the latitude, the longitude and the height data of an opposite antenna at the same time. Then, the respective data inputted from the own antenna and the opposite antenna are converted into the rectangular coordinates. For example, the position of a relay vehicle is made to be a point A, and the position of a home office is made to be a point B. The polar coordinates of the points A and B are converted into the polar coordinates, respectively, and the distance between the point A and the point B is obtained. Then, the external shape surrounded by the latitude line and the longitude line of the point A and the latitude line and the longitude line of the point B is regarded as the retancle, and the distances (a), (b) and (c) of the sides of the rectangle are computed. An interior angle θ of the rectangle is computed by a cosine theorem. Furthermore, interior angles θA and θB are obtained.
