Magnification Generalization for Histopathology Image Embedding
TL;DR: In this paper, an episodic trainable domain generalization technique for magnification generalization, namely Model Agnostic Learning of Semantic Features (MASF), was proposed for histopathology image embedding.
Book ChapterDOI
Increasing Computational Redundancy of Digital Images via Multiresolutional Matching
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that by using the position-invariant and rotation-Invariant similarity measures, on average, the computational redundancy of natural images increases by 34% and 28%, respectively, in comparison to the basic similarity measure.

Opposition based Ensemble Micro Differential Evolution
TL;DR: The proposed algorithm enhances the diversity of population by generating a random mutation scale factor per individual and per dimension, randomly assigning a mutation scheme to each individual in each generation, and diversifying individuals selection using opposition-based learning.

Cell projection plots: a novel visualization of bone marrow aspirate cytology
Taher Dehkharghanian,Youqing Mu,Catherine L. Ross,Monalisa Sur,Hamid R. Tizhoosh,Clinton J. V. Campbell +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors introduce cell projection plots (CPPs), which are automatically generated visual summaries of bone marrow aspirate specimens, and provide a compact summary of marrow cytology, and encompass relevant biological patterns such as neutrophil maturation.
