Nickel ferrite spinel as catalyst precursor in the dry reforming of methane: Synthesis, characterization and catalytic properties

TL;DR: In this paper, the textural and structural properties of NiFe2O4 inverse spinel were determined by a number of analysis methods, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, and Xray photoelectron spectrograph (XPS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Sol–gel synthesis and characterization of silica supported nickel ferrite catalysts for dry reforming of methane

TL;DR: Silica-supported NiFe2O4 spinel was prepared by sol-gel method using tetramethyl orthosilicate as a precursor of silica in this paper, and the reducibility by hydrogen was investigated by TPR and HT-XRD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Physico-chemical properties and syngas production via dry reforming of methane over NiAl 2 O 4 catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, the nano-particles of NiAl2O4 were prepared by co-precipitation and their bulk and surface were characterized by XRD, Raman spectroscopy, N2-adsorption-desorption analysis, SEM-EDS and XPS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural, Textural and Acid–Base Properties of Nano-Sized NiFe2O4 Spinel Catalysts

TL;DR: The effect of preparation methods on the textural, structural and acid-base properties of nano-sized nickel ferrite oxides was investigated in this paper, where several physicochemical methods were used for their characterization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic activity in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane over Ni and/or Co molybdate catalysts: Synthesis and characterization

TL;DR: In this paper, the results showed that the addition of Ni or Co to MMoO4matrices (M=Ni or Co) led to a high dispersion of additives into the molybdenum matrix without forming a significant amount of other bulk metal oxides.
