CONSTITUTION:The mean particle diameter of CuO as the positive electrode active material of a cell is kept in the range of 0.1-5mum. When the mean particle diameter exceeds 5mum the specific surface area, the reaction area con tributing to the cell reaction, is decreased, hence the utility of CuO becomes low. And if the mean particle diameter is smaller than 0.1mum a large amount of binder is required for binding CuO powder to electro-conductive material, so that the amount of CuO can be filed per unit area is decreased, thus the discharge capacity of the cell is decreased.

CONSTITUTION:A transfer management processor 32 refers to whether a preceding transfer result is a normal end or an abnormal end by an external storage device 2 at the time of starting transfer. In case of erroneous end, the restart of retransfer and in case of normal end, the start of normal transfer is informed to a reception processor 31. The information of a reception start record position is received from the reception processor 31 and stored in a storage device 2 to start transfer processing. The number of received items is stored in the storage device 2 at each reception record during reception processing. In case of the abnormal end, the number of received record items is acquired from the storage device 2 and the result is pointed out in a record decreased by one from the item number. In case of normal end, a received location is pointed out to a head record of the file as a new transfer. The reception start position is informed to a processor 32 to start the transfer.
