A compound die assembly adapted to produce large-sized parts having a plurality of holes, complicated holes and/or lengthy holes wherein a blanking die (103) and a blanking punch (203) are made by wire-cut electro-discharge machining and are directly fixed onto a punch holder (101) and a die holder (201), respectively, a knockout plate (109) and a stripper plate (204) are also made by wire-cut electro-discharge machining and are fixed by hanger bolts onto the punch holder and the die holder through polyurethane rubbers (111, 206), respectively. Guide posts (30) are fixed to the punch holder and extends through the die holder downwardly. A mount (40) to be fixed onto the press bolster has a flat top surface on which the die holder is fixedly mounted and has a plurality of guide-post-receiving holes (401) in which coil springs (402) are contained to raise the guide posts received together with the punch holder. A plurality of load-supporting elements (50) are fixed onto the bottom surface of the die holder near slug clearance holes thereof.

Compound die assembly

An end-effector assembly includes opposing first and second jaw assemblies pivotably mounted with respect to one another. The first jaw assembly includes a first jaw member including a first arm member defining one or more apertures at least partially therethrough and a first support base extending distally therefrom, wherein an engagement structure of the first arm member is joined to an engagement structure of the first support base. The second jaw assembly includes a second jaw member including a second arm member defining one or more apertures at least partially therethrough and a second support base extending distally therefrom, wherein an engagement structure of the second arm member is joined to an engagement structure of the second support base. One or more pivot pins are engaged with the one or more apertures of the first and second jaw members.

End-Effector Assemblies for Electrosurgical Instruments and Methods of Manufacturing Jaw Assembly Components of End-Effector Assemblies

A die adaptor system includes a lower adaptor including a first press adaptor plate and a lower binder plate. The lower forming plate has a raised upwardly facing contact surface that is encircled by the lower binder plate. The die adaptor system also includes an upper adaptor having an upper forming plate and an upper binder plate. The upper forming plate has a raised downwardly facing contact surface that is encircled by the upper binder plate. A tool package is formed when the upper and lower adaptors are abuttingly engaged along the downwardly and upwardly facing contact surfaces. The tool package can be removed from the press and a new or different tool package can be inserted. A rack and pinion lift mechanism is integrated below the lower adaptor, to allow the tool package to be raised to a height high enough for removal from the press machine.

Modular die press assembly

A method of manufacturing a stamped, extruded finished part includes permanently attaching upper and lower shoes to a moveable ram and a stationary bolster plate of a dedicated stamping press. A replaceable extrusion die sub-assembly is mounted between the upper and lower shoes for extruding a workpiece into a preform. A component die sub-assembly is replaceably attached to the ram and bolster plate of the press for processing the preform into the finished part. The workpiece is progressively extruded then stamped into the finished part. Only the component die sub-assembly and the perishable components of the extrusion die sub-assembly are replaced when a different finished part is ordered.

Method of doing business and manufacturing in a stamping and extrusion facility

The invention relates to a rolling piece stamping die. The rolling piece stamping die comprises an upper die and a lower die; the upper die comprises an upper die seat, an upper fixed heat cushion block, an upper discharge plate base plate and an upper discharge plate; the die seat, the upper fixed cushion block, an upper fixed plate, the upper discharge plate base plate and the upper discharge plate are connected through a third discharge screw; the lower die comprises a lower discharge base plate, a lower discharge plate, a female die plate, a female die plate base plate and a lower die seat; the discharge base plate, the lower discharge plate, the female die plate, the female die plate base plate and the lower die seat are connected by a first discharge screw; a punch is fixed on the upper fixed plate; the lower discharge plate is provided with a second discharge insert and a first discharge insert; two sides of the second discharge insert are provided with a third through hole through which the punch can pass; the female die insert is fixed on the female die plate; a positioning pin is arranged in the female die insert; and two sides of the female die insert are provided with a slide block. The rolling piece stamping die has a simple, compact and reasonable structure; the working process is simple and convenient; and the rolling piece stamping die can be used safely, and can greatly improve the production efficiency and the safety of production.

A fineblanking press having two groups of elements, the first group including an interchangeable die set having an upper die member, a lower die member and guide posts with the second group including a support plate, guide pins and an ejector element, the separate groups providing improved interchangeability, maintenance and stability.
