Combining Deep Reinforcement Learning with Rule-based Constraints for Safe Highway Driving

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors presented a powerful safe framework, which leverages the merits of both rule-based constraints and deep reinforcement learning (DRL) for safety assurance, and applied the deep Q-network algorithm to optimize the driving performance.

Resource-Constrained Neural Architecture Search on Tabular Datasets

TL;DR: It is argued that search spaces for tabular NAS pose considerable challenges for these existing reward-shaping methods, and a new reinforcement learning (RL) controller is proposed to address these challenges.

Combined Scaling for Zero-shot Transfer Learning

TL;DR: This article proposed a combined scaling method called BASIC that achieves 85.7% top-1 zero-shot accuracy on the ImageNet ILSVRC-2012 validation set, surpassing the best-published zero shot models -CLIP and ALIGN by 9.3%.
