Journal ArticleDOI

Management of type B aortic dissection with an isolated left vertebral artery

TL;DR: The authors' limited experience reveals that TEVAR and concomitant procedures are relatively safe and viable for treatment of TBAD with an isolated left vertebral artery and longer follow-ups are needed to confirm these findings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Elevated uric acid is related to the no-/slow-reflow phenomenon in STEMI undergoing primary PCI.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the relationship between elevated serum uric acid (SUA) and NRP in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI).
Journal ArticleDOI

Association between the Plasma-Glycosylated Hemoglobin A1c/High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol Ratio and Carotid Atherosclerosis: A Retrospective Study.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the relationship between the HbA1c/HDL-C ratio and atherosclerosis evaluated using carotid artery intima-media thickness (cIMT) and artery plaque.
Journal ArticleDOI

Predictors of clinical outcome after rotational atherectomy-facilitated percutaneous coronary intervention in hemodialysis patients

TL;DR: In this article, a consecutive cohort of patients from the Sapporo Cardiovascular Clinic database, who were on maintenance hemodialysis with severe calcified lesions and treated with ROTAfacilitated PCI, was retrospectively analyzed to identify independent predictors of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), even when facilitated by rotational atherectomy (ROTA).
