Journal ArticleDOI
Reappraisal Value of a Modified Rotational Atherectomy Technique in Contemporary Coronary Angioplasty Era
Haojian Dong,Daisuke Hachinohe,Zhiqiang Nie,Yoshifumi Kashima,Jianfang Luo,Takuya Haraguchi,Hidemasa Shitan,Tomohiko Watanabe,Yutaka Tadano,Umihiko Kaneko,Takuro Sugie,Ken Kobayashi,Daitaro Kanno,Morio Enomoto,Katsuhiko Sato,Tsutomu Fujita +15 more
TL;DR: The modified RA technique is a safe and effective tool in the contemporary PCI era, even in high-risk patients, according to a large group of aged patients with higher cardiovascular risk.
Journal ArticleDOI
Management of type B aortic dissection with an isolated left vertebral artery
Huanyu Ding,Yi Zhu,Hui-yong Wang,Songyuan Luo,Yuan Liu,Wenhui Huang,Haojian Dong,Ling Xue,Ruixin Fan,Jianfang Luo +9 more
TL;DR: The authors' limited experience reveals that TEVAR and concomitant procedures are relatively safe and viable for treatment of TBAD with an isolated left vertebral artery and longer follow-ups are needed to confirm these findings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elevated uric acid is related to the no-/slow-reflow phenomenon in STEMI undergoing primary PCI.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the relationship between elevated serum uric acid (SUA) and NRP in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI).
Journal ArticleDOI
Association between the Plasma-Glycosylated Hemoglobin A1c/High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol Ratio and Carotid Atherosclerosis: A Retrospective Study.
Xiangming Hu,Xiangming Hu,Wei Li,Chenyang Wang,Haotian Zhang,Haoyu Lu,Guang Li,Yingling Zhou,Haojian Dong +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the relationship between the HbA1c/HDL-C ratio and atherosclerosis evaluated using carotid artery intima-media thickness (cIMT) and artery plaque.
Journal ArticleDOI
Predictors of clinical outcome after rotational atherectomy-facilitated percutaneous coronary intervention in hemodialysis patients
Haojian Dong,Daisuke Hachinohe,Zhiqiang Nie,Yoshifumi Kashima,Guang Li,Takuya Haraguchi,Hidemasa Shitan,Tomohiko Watanabe,Yutaka Tadano,Umihiko Kaneko,Takuro Sugie,Ken Kobayashi,Daitaro Kanno,Morio Enomoto,Katsuhiko Sato,Tsutomu Fujita +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, a consecutive cohort of patients from the Sapporo Cardiovascular Clinic database, who were on maintenance hemodialysis with severe calcified lesions and treated with ROTAfacilitated PCI, was retrospectively analyzed to identify independent predictors of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), even when facilitated by rotational atherectomy (ROTA).
