An Investigation of the Route and Progression of Encephalitozoon cuniculi Infection in Adult Rabbits

Journal ArticleDOI

Harold D. Attwood,S.T. Chou +1 more

Journal ArticleDOI
Toxoplasmosis in dasyurid marsupials
TL;DR: During a histopathologic survey of 240 dasyurid marsupials a high prevalence of infection of Toxoplasma gondii was found in eight of the nine species examined, and the 21 Antechinus stuartii examined remained free from infection despite a lengthy stay in the laboratory and a similar diet, which may indicate a particular resistance to Toxinoplasma infection by this species.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spontaneous malignant neoplasms in dasyurid marsupials.
TL;DR: Spontaneous neoplasms—thoracic fibrosarcomata, a cerebellar medulloblastoma, two examples of pulmonary adenomatosis and four examples of lymphocytic neoplasia— were found in a routine histopathological study of 168 dasyurid marsupials whose reproductive biology was being studied at La Trobe University, Victoria, Australia.
