A foamer nozzle assembly has dual screens of intersecting strands in spaced sets of strands, the strands of one set being offset relative to the strands of the other set for establishing two turbulence zones as the flow direction of spray particles is deflected when passing through the first screen and as the flow direction of the spray particles is further deflected when passing through the second screen. The screens are located in a cylinder of the assembly which may or may not define a turbulence cylinder depending on the spacing of the screens from the discharge orifice. The screens may be spaced apart a given distance to establish a turbulence zone therebetween.

Foamer assembly for fluid dispenser

A wheeled fire hydrant diffuser has a wheeled frame having a trailering tongue for attachment to the rear of a towing vehicle. The housing is formed with walls and attached to the wheeled frame and has an inner chamber therein having an open bottom. An elongated walled passageway extends through the housing chamber and has an opening therein facing the top of the housing. A flexible fire hose is attached to a coupling in the walled passageway and has a removable fire hydrant coupling on the other end thereof so that the fire hose can be connected to the fire hydrant and the fire hydrant opened to direct water therefrom through the walled passageway into the housing inner chamber and out the bottom of the housing inner chamber. The housing has a storage compartment for storing the flexible fire hose.

Wheeled fire hydrant diffuser

A harness is provided for supporting a water meter on a fire hydrant so as to minimize the possibility of the water meter being accidentally dislodged from the first hydrant. The harness comprises a first loop which fits around the conical top of the fire hydrant and a second loop which fits around a portion of the water meter. A rod extends between the two loops and tensioning means is provided to draw the two loops toward one another via advancing the rod so as to both pull the water meter back toward the fire hydrant and to suspend that end of the water meter to which a water hose is attached from the conical top of the fire hydrant.

A fire hydrant diffuser comprising a flared housing rectangular in cross section having disposed therein a pair of water diffusing members in opposed relation angled to form a V-configuration and having a stepped mesh structure positioned relative to the direction of flow of water to present narrow obstructing slits for the passage of the water.

Fire hydrant diffuser

A flow diverter for diverting an initial flow stream of pressurized fluid from a source of pressurized fluid. The flow diverter comprises a housing having an upstream end, an inlet opening in the upstream end, a downstream end generally opposed to the upstream end, a top plate extending between the upstream end and the downstream end, a bottom plate generally opposed to the top plate and extending between the upstream end and the downstream end, and a pair of generally opposed lateral sides extending between the upstream end, the downstream end, the top plate and the bottom plate. The upstream end is adapted to be attached to the source of pressurized fluid and the inlet opening is adapted to receive the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid from the source of pressurized fluid. The downstream end is adapted to divert the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid toward the pair of generally opposed lateral sides. The pair of generally opposed lateral sides are adapted to permit the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid to exit the housing in a pair of generally opposed diverted flow streams of pressurized fluid that are substantially perpendicular to the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid. The pair of generally opposed lateral sides are also adapted to permit the measurement of the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid.

Apparatus and method for flow diverter

A water hydrant diffuser formed of a plurality of diffuser elements mounted in generally parallel planes in a housing. A coupling section has a free end and a mating end with the free end being designed so that the coupling section can be secured to a water hydrant outlet. The other end of the coupling section is connected to one end of the housing. A fluid flow measuring device can be inserted in the water hydrant diffuser intermediate the coupling section free end and the diffuser elements.
