Coordinate Regulation of RAG1 and RAG2 by Cell Type-Specific DNA Elements 5' of RAG2
Wong Yu,Ziva Misulovin,Heikyung Suh,Richard R. Hardy,Mila Jankovic,Nikos Yannoutsos,Michel C. Nussenzweig +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the regulation of RAG1 and RAG2 was investigated in vivo with bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) transgenes containing a fluorescent indicator, and it was found that asymmetrically disposed cis DNA elements could influence the expression of the primordial transposon and thereby capture RAGs for vertebrate evolution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Generation of effector memory T cell-based mucosal and systemic immunity with pulmonary nanoparticle vaccination
Adrienne V. Li,James J. Moon,James J. Moon,Wuhbet Abraham,Heikyung Suh,Heikyung Suh,Jamal Elkhader,Michael A. Seidman,Minmin Yen,Eung Jun Im,Eung Jun Im,Maria Hottelet Foley,Dan H. Barouch,Dan H. Barouch,Darrell J. Irvine +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a pulmonary vaccination strategy combining TLR agonists with antigen-carrying lipid nanocapsules was described, which elicited high-frequency, long-lived, antigen-specific effector memory T cell responses at multiple mucosal sites.
Generation of Effector Memory T Cell-Based Mucosal and Systemic Immunity with Pulmonary Nanoparticle Vaccination
Adrienne V. Li,James J. Moon,James J. Moon,Wuhbet Abraham,Heikyung Suh,Heikyung Suh,Jamal Elkhader,Michael A. Seidman,Minmin Yen,Eung Jun Im,Eung Jun Im,Maria Hottelet Foley,Dan H. Barouch,Dan H. Barouch,Darrell J. Irvine +14 more
TL;DR: A pulmonary vaccination strategy combining Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists with antigen-carrying lipid nanocapsules, which elicit high-frequency, long-lived, antigen-specific effector memory T cell responses at multiple mucosal sites is described.
Releasable Layer-by-Layer Assembly of Stabilized Lipid Nanocapsules on Microneedles for Enhanced Transcutaneous Vaccine Delivery
Peter C. DeMuth,James J. Moon,Heikyung Suh,Paula T. Hammond,Darrell J. Irvine,Darrell J. Irvine +5 more
TL;DR: The potential of lipid nanocapsules delivered by microneedles as a promising platform for noninvasive vaccine delivery applications is highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of Ig beta in precursor B cell transition and allelic exclusion.
TL;DR: The association between the membrane immunoglobulin (Ig) M heavy chair (micron) and the Ig alpha-Ig beta heterodimer is now shown to be essential in inducing both the transition from progenitor to precursor B cells and subsequent allelic exclusion in transgenic mice.
