Electrochemical properties and hydrogen storage mechanism of perovskite-type oxide LaFeO3 as a negative electrode for Ni/MH batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, the phase structure, electrochemical properties and hydrogen storage mechanism as negative electrodes for nickel/metal hydride (Ni/MH) batteries have been investigated systematically, and the results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis show both calcined powder and the charged/discharged samples after 10 cycles have orthorhombic structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical properties of La1−xSrxFeO3 (x = 0.2, 0.4) as negative electrode of Ni–MH batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, the phase structure and electrochemical properties of La(1−x)SrxFeO3 oxide electrodes were investigated systematically, and it was shown that the discharge capacities of these electrodes increase as the temperature rises.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low temperature electrochemical properties of LaNi4.6―xMn0.4Mx (M = Fe or Co) and effect of oxide layer on EIS responses in metal hydride electrodes

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of Fe and Co on the electrochemical properties of LaNi 4.6−x Mn 0.4 M x (M = Fe or Co, x ǫ = 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75) hydrogen storage alloys under relatively low temperatures were systematically investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of the electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of the proton-conductive perovskite-type oxide LaCrO3 as negative electrode for Ni/MH batteries

TL;DR: In this article, a negative electrode for Ni/MH batteries, LaCrO 3, was investigated as negative electrode and the structures of the as-calcined powder and the 20th charge-discharge cycle sample were characterized by XRD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Some factors affecting the electrochemical performances of LaCrO3 as negative electrodes for Ni/MH batteries

TL;DR: In this article, perovskite-type LaCrO3 used as negative electrode for Ni/MH batteries was prepared by Pechini method and characterized by XRD and SEM.
