A robust optoelectronic transceiver module which is quick, easy, and inexpensive to manufacture. The transceiver module has a main housing which consists of a potting box with potting material inserted therein. In addition, a circuit board is encased by the potting material. The circuit board has an optical subassembly mounted thereon. The optical subassembly extends outside of the potting box through a recess. Correspondingly, a recess cover is provided for forming a liquid tight seal between the recess cover, the potting box, and the optical subassembly. The module housing may be pluggable via release levers having detentes received in apertures of a receptacle and a pluggable connector of the module mated within the receptacle. The receptacle may include grounding means such as a ground clip mounted within the receptacle and a protective door to limit electromagnetic emissions.

Removable transceiver module and receptacle

An interface converter module is provided for converting data signals from a first transmission medium to a second transmission medium. The module is housed within a metallized housing having a first end and a second end. A shielded electrical connector is mounted at the first end of the housing and is configured to mate to a corresponding connector associated with a first transmission medium. The second end of the housing comprises a media interface which includes an interface connector configured to connect to the second transmission medium. In another embodiment a printed circuit board is mounted within the housing and has mounted thereon electronic circuitry configured to convert data signals from a host device transmission medium to the second transmission medium. The printed circuit board includes contact fingers adhered at each end in order to form a host connector at the first end of the module and a media connector at the second end of the module. The contact fingers at one end form a male ribbon style connector and the contact fingers at the other end may be used for direct connection to the mating media connector or alternatively the contact fingers may be attached to a separate electrical connector or to optical connectors. The circuit board may also include guide tabs having coatings on their edges for static discharge prior to power being coupled to the module.

High speed interface converter module

Systems and methods are provided for processing wireless signal components for a mobile wireless access broadband service. This can include processes for defining a protocol that controls whether to invoke a tune away component to determine an alternative wireless communications path. This can include defining one or more tune away parameters for the tune away component. The process can then automatically select the alternative wireless communications path based in part on the tune away procedure and at least one of the tune away parameters.

Tune-away protocols for wireless systems

A semiconductor device includes a via structure and a conductive structure. The via structure has a surface with a planar portion and a protrusion portion. The conductive structure is formed over at least part of the planar portion and not over at least part of the protrusion portion of the via structure. For example, the conductive structure is formed only onto the planar portion and not onto any of the protrusion portion for forming high quality connection between the conductive structure and the via structure.

Semiconductor Device and Method of Fabricating the Same

An apparatus for applying optical energy to selectively remove material carried upon a substrate, preferably in substantially parallel lanes of material-free areas, which apparatus comprises an optical generator for generating optical energy in a primary beam, partitioning devices for dividing the primary beam into a plurality of derivative beams, reflective devices for reflecting each of the derivative beams to form a plurality of working beams which impact the substrate, focusing lenses for focusing each of the plurality of working beams upon the substrate, and transport means for transporting the substrate in a direction transverse of the plurality of working beams to effect continuous removal of material in substantially parallel lanes from the substrate by the working beams. In the preferred embodiment of the apparatus, phase retarders are utilized to shift the vector orientation of selected of the derivative beams in a manner whereby each of the working beams is of substantially equal intensity, a beam expander is used for diffusing the primary beam to reduce energy concentration upon optical elements of the apparatus. The lens assemblies are configured to focus the working beams upon the substrate in a substantially elliptical pattern, the major axis of which pattern is substantially aligned with the direction of transport of the substrate, and evacuating assemblies are associated with each working beam to evacuate removed material to preclude deposition of removed material upon the lens assemblies as well as to preclude impairment of focusing of the working beams upon the substrate.

In one embodiment, the master gear (100) has helical teeth having a tooth spacing and a gear width dependent on a contact ratio of the work gear (200). In another embodiment, the master gear (100) has spur teeth for measuring a work gear (200) having spur teeth. The master gear (100) having spur teeth is defined by parameters relating to a pressure angle of an imaginary outer diameter of the work gear (200) and a pressure angle of an imaginary form diameter of the work gear (200).
