The present invention relates to a substantially dry, disposable, personal cleansing article useful for both cleansing the skin or hair, and more particularly to a disposable cleansing article having a substrate which preferably comprises of multiple layers. These articles are used by the consumer by wetting the dry article with water. The article comprises a water insoluble substrate having at least a first portion that is wet extensible and at least a second portion that is less wet extensible than said first portion and a lathering surfactant. Preferably, the articles of the present invention further comprise a conditioning component.

Cleansing and conditioning article for skin or hair

The present invention relates to a substantially dry, disposable, personal cleansing article useful for both cleansing the skin or hair and delivering skin care actives onto the skin or hair. These articles are used by the consumer by (i) wetting the dry article with water and (ii) generating lather by subjecting the wetted article to mechanical forces, e.g., rubbing. The article comprises a water insoluble substrate, a lathering surfactant, and a skin care active component. Preferably, the articles of the present invention further comprise a deposition aid and/or a conditioning component.

Cleansing articles for skin and/or hair which also deposits skin care actives

The present invention relates to substantially dry personal cleansing articles useful for cleansing the skin or hair. These articles are used by the consumer by wetting the substantially dry article with water and then rubbing the article against the skin or hair. The article comprises a water-insoluble substrate having non-fibrous polymeric raised areas on at least one surface of said water insoluble substrate that are formed of a polymeric material having a Shore A hardness of no more than about 80, and a lathering surfactant releasably associated with the substrate. Preferably, the articles of the present invention further comprise a conditioning component.

Cleansing articles for skin or hair

The present invention relates to non-abrasive personal care cleansing compositions. These compositions utilize insoluble micronized cleansing particles of defined particle size that are not tactilely perceived by the user during the cleansing process, and yet which provide improved cleansing performance from the composition. These compositions also comprise a surfactant, an emollient and water.

Personal cleansing compositions

OF THE DISCLOSURE An extracted peach leaf fraction, preparation method of the same and a bath-additive composition comprising the same is disclosed. The extracted peach-leaf fraction is prepared by extracting peach-leaves with water and/or a lower alcohol, and treating the obtained extract with activated charcoal. The peach-leaf fraction of the present invention has an excellent solubility and stability when dissolved in water, a high anti-inflammatory effect, and safety to the skin. Further, the bath-additive composition comprising the peach-leaf fraction has an excellent bathing effect without making the bath water turbid.

In addition, aminophylline, theophylline or caffeine represented by the formula [R 1 is methyl or H; R 2 is H, one or two hydroxyl groups or a 1 to 12C (substituted) alkyl], etc., is used as the component (A) and isoproterenol, dobutamine or salbutamol is used as the component (ii). Yohimbine, phentolamine or ergotamine is used as the component (iii) and amrinone or milrinone is used as the component (iv). Further, the component (B) has preferably a particle size distribution containing particles of ≤20μm particle diameter in an amount of ≤10wt.% based on the whole particles and other particles of ≤5000μm particle diameter in an amount of ≤10wt.%. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation composition for external use for skin and a bath agent composition each containing a plant such as a Piperaceae plant or a Cirsium plant and an astringent agent and excellent in astringent and smooth skin touches. SOLUTION: This preparation composition for external use for skin and this bath agent composition each contains one or more kinds of plants selected from Piperaceae plants such as Piper nigrum L., Piper longum L. or Piper angustifolium R., Cephalonoplos plants and Cirsium plants such as Cephalonoplos segetum, Cephalonoplos setosum, Cirsium borealinipponense, Cirsium spicetum, Cirsium chikushiense and Cirsium maritimum, and an astringent agent as active ingredients. The content of the Piperaceae plant or the Cirsium plant is preferably >=0.005wt.%, preferably 0.01-20wt.%, converted into the solvent-extracted and dried product, and the content of the astringent agent is preferably 0.01-20wt.%. A scrubbing agent having a particle size distribution in which particles having particle diameters of =5000μm are contained in amounts of <=10% and <=10%, respectively, is preferably further added. A cold-sensing agent or a warm-sensing agent may further be used.

Preparation composition for external use for skin and bath agent composition

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, comprising a water-soluble adhesive sheet, excellent in simple handling and usefulness, capable of using by pasting it up or embrocating it to skin and giving warm bath effect and skin care effect on a lesion. SOLUTION: This adhesive sheet is obtained by swelling a water-soluble polymer (e.g. gelatin) by addition of water, if necessary adding a plasticizer (e.g. polyol) and blending an active ingredient therewith. A bathing agent composition is prepared by laminating adhesive sheets alone or together with a water- soluble protective material (e.g. polyvinylalcohol film) and/or a release sheet. By making sheet by means of laminating the sheet and the protective material, it is possible to avoid adhering to hands and fingers when handling. Moreover, by bathing with pasting on the human body, the circulation behavior and the metabolism at a lesion in addition to the warm bathing effect are improved and the active ingredient functions to be effective for stiffness in shoulders, lumbago and skin diseases.
