Journal ArticleDOI

A molecular-orbital theoretical classification of reactions of singlet ground-state molecules

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction mechanisms of molecular systems in the ground singlet state are discriminated with the triplet stability-instability criterion of restricted Hartree-Fock (RHF) solution for the entire system and with the phase continuity criterion of the highest occupied orbital involved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vacuum ultraviolet absorption spectra of sublimed films of nucleic acid bases

TL;DR: On comparing the spectra of several fresh samples it was found that the intensities of the transitions with wavelength longer than 160 mμ of adenine, guanine, and uracil films are inversely correlated with those of the transition shorter than 160mμ.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design of conjugated polymers with polaronic ferromagnetism

TL;DR: In this article, a new class of ferromagnetic conjugated polymers is proposed, which have no built-in radicals, but spins are generated by doping, and possible ferromagnetism in polymers of this type is demonstrated using the PPP model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Theory of Resonating Quantum Fluctuations in a Fermion System -- Resonating Hartree-Fock Approximation--

TL;DR: In this paper, a new theory for large quantum fluctuations in a Fermion many-body system that cannot be described by fluctuations around the Hartree·Fock ground state but arises from resonance of different correlation structures was developed.
