Journal ArticleDOI
Biocompatible Polymers Modified with d-Octaarginine as an Absorption Enhancer for Nasal Peptide Delivery.
Kohei Miyata,Masami Ukawa,Kohta Mohri,Kozue Fujii,Mako Yamada,Sohei Tanishita,Satoshi Higashitarumi,Seiya Ishizaki,Hironori Kumagai,Kyohei Ochiai,Ken-ichiro Hiwatari,Kazufumi Tsubaki,Koichi Shigeno,Etsuo Tobita,Hideo Kobayashi,Shinji Sakuma +15 more
TL;DR: The current data suggested that biologics formulated with d-octaarginine-linked polymers became an alternative to their conventional invasive parenteral formulations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nasal absorption enhancement of protein drugs independent to their chemical properties in the presence of hyaluronic acid modified with tetraglycine-L-octaarginine
Takumi Tomono,Haruya Yagi,Masami Ukawa,Seiya Ishizaki,Takahiro Miwa,Mao Nonomura,Ryoji Igi,Hironori Kumagai,Kohei Miyata,Etsuo Tobita,Hideo Kobayashi,Shinji Sakuma +11 more
TL;DR: Results indicated that the polysaccharide derivative would be a promising absorption enhancer which delivers biologics applied on the nasal mucosa into systemic circulation and was of greater advantage than SNAC for enhancing nasal absorption of protein drugs with a larger Mw.
Patent
Composition for introduction of nucleic acid
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a composition with weak cytotoxicity for introducing a nucleic acid, such as a short oligonucleotide or a gene, into a cell and expression of the gene in the cell with improved capability for introduction of the nucleic acids, and a novel compound contained in the composition.
