PURPOSE:To utilize a motor easy to design and make a drive section compact by obtaining a control force applied between a movable mass and a high-rise building via the torque of a pinion rack mechanism in the rotation direction. CONSTITUTION:When a high-rise building 2 tends to vibrate in the X direction, a vibration sensor 6 detects the signals and sends a vibration acceleration signal to a control unit 8. The control unit 8 feeds the current to a motor, and the motor generates the torque T in response to the vibration speed and is rotated. The generated torque T is converted into a control force U and is applied between a movable mass 3 and the fitting base of the motor to dampen vibrations of the high-rise building 2. Accordingly, the control force U applied between the movable mass 3 and the high-rise building 2 is obtained via the torque T of a pinion rack mechanism in the rotation direction, thus a motor easy to design can be utilized, and drive section can be constituted compactly.

Vibration control device

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance vibration removing performance by attaching a damping unit to an apparatus mounted on a surface plate of a precision vibration removing table, thereupon making feedback control so that the vibration in the prescribed direction is diminished, and eliminating the influence of the resonance of an additional vibration system consisting of a movable mass and a leaf spring of the damping unit. SOLUTION: An active type vibration removing device determines the control input u 1 applied to a linear motor 32 by a fundamental control part 4a of a controller 4 on the basis of the vibrating condition of the apparatus D sensed by an acceleration sensor 31. As a reaction force with which the movable mass 33 is driven, a controlling force such as to diminish the vibration of the apparatus D is obtained from u 1 . In this control, the control input u 2 is determined with the corrected control input u 1 by a correction control part 4b of the controller 4 so that the vibrational portion of the apparatus D due to resonance of the additional vibrating system consisting of the movable mass 33 and leaf spring 34 is ignored. Active type vibration removing device and damping device used therefor

PURPOSE:To wind up band-like plates under a uniform tension, by fitting a plurality of plungers in each of wind-up barrels widthwise split, radially of a wind-up shaft so that the torque of the wind-up shaft is transmitted to the wind-up barrels by means of hydraulic pressure obtained by the pumping action of the plungers. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sets of pump mechanisms 16 each consisting of plungers 12, cylinder suction valves 14, and discharge valves 15 are incorporated in a wind-up hollow shaft 11, radially of the latter, a positions corresponding to wind-up barrels 6 widthwise split. Each wind-up barrel 6 has its inner surface which is a corrugated quadratic curved surface, and therefore, the plungers are made into contact with this curved surfaces so that they are radially reciprocate to effect pump action. Therefore, the difference in rotational speed (rotational slip amount) occurs between the wind-up barrel and the wind-up shaft, and therefore, band-like plates may be wound under a uniform tension at a uniform speed irrespective of the wind-up diameter thereof.

On the basis of a mass ratio between the floating body (1) and the drive weight (2), and an acceleration feed back gain obtained from the control unit (14), an attenuation coefficient of the power generator (15) is set such that the power generating energy is larger than the control energy that drives the drive weight (2) by means of the control unit (14).

Balancer for reciprocating engine

PURPOSE:To enlarge a damping factor of vibration in a structure as well as to secure a damped vibration effect for a wide range of frequency, by adding mass to the structure, while making controlling force act on between the added mass and the structure according to vibrations in the structure. CONSTITUTION:When external force P acts on a building 1 by way of a wind or the foundation, a vibration is excited to the building 1. Vibro-acceleration in the building 1 is detected by an accelerometer 3, fed to a control unit 5 and given to an actuator 6 via an integrator, a speed signal amplifier and a power amplifier. At this actuator 6, there is produced controlling force in proportion to a roof velocity, between an added mass and the building 1, causing the vibration damping of the building 1 to grow large. Also in an interspace between the building 1 and the added mass 2, a displacement meter 4 detecting a relative displacement is installed, emitting a relative displacement signal, through which the actuator 6 is energized and the controlling force proportional to the relative displacement is produced.

Vibration insulating device

PURPOSE:To improve vibration control effect for outside force changed from vibration by forming an electric spring between a structural substance and a movable substance and synchronizing a spring constant corresponding to a change of the number of vibrations of the outside force acted upon the structural substance. CONSTITUTION:Between a structural substance 1 to which a steady exciting force, outside force F is applied and a movable substance 3, disposed are a spring 4 having a spring constant K2 and a displacement meter 6 for detecting a relative displacement between them. A displacement signal detected by the displacement meter 6 is input to a multiplier 74 of a control device 7, and then acts upon an actuator 8 through a power amplifier 75, which produces a controlling force in proportion to a relative displacement between the structural substance 1 and the movable substance 3. If the number omega of vibrations of outside force F is changed, the gain of the multiplier 74 is controlled to be at a value of Km for a change of the vibration portion, and the controlling force from the actuator 8 is applied between the structural substance 1 and the movable substance 3 so as to change a spring constant.
