Journal ArticleDOI

Rechargeable hydrogen batteries using rare-earth-based hydrogen storage alloys

TL;DR: In this article, a columnar structure was formed so that the c -axis of the hexagonal structure was oriented parallel to the cooling plane, and the cylindrical sealed cell also showed a very long cycle life (a capacity decay of 6% after 2000 cycles).
Journal ArticleDOI

Grain boundary structure, energy and strength in molybdenum

TL;DR: In this paper, the relationship between the strength, grain boundary structure and grain boundary energy has been investigated for purified biccrystals of molybdenum with various symmetric tilt boundaries, by means of transmission electron microscopy and optical interferometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Grain Boundary Fracture in Molybdenum Bicrystals with Various 〈110〉 Symmetric Tilt Boundaries

TL;DR: In this paper, the rupture intergranulaire dans Mo avec joints de flexion symetriques on effectue un essai de flexions a quatre points a 77 K avec des bicristaux a differentes desorientations entre 0° and 90°.
