There is provided a power control method for secondary batteries constituting, in a grid connection system supplying electric power to a power system by combining a power generator where output power fluctuates with a power storage compensator, the power storage compensator and compensating fluctuation of output power of the power generator. The method includes the steps of: dividing the secondary batteries into a “constant power control” group and a “demand responsive” group, and distributing predetermined constant input-output power out of power to be input and output provided to all the secondary batteries in order to compensate fluctuation of output power of the power generator to the “constant power control group” and the remaining input-output power to the “demand responsive” group to control input-output power of the secondary batteries respectively depending on the belonging groups.

SOLUTION: This is a power storage device 1 which supplies a power system 4 with power so as to suppress the output ripple of a distributed power source 2, being connected between the distributed power source 2 and the power system 4. The power storage device is equipped with a power conversion mechanism 12 which performs the charge and discharge of an accumulator 11, on the basis of the converter power command given from a controller 13. The controller 13 possesses a charge/discharge command setter 23 which sets the charge/discharge command to bring the charge state of the accumulator 11 close to the target charge state, and a converter power command setter 24 which sets a converter power command on the basis of the charge/discharge command set by the charge/discharge command setter 23, the target supply power to be supplied to the power system 4, and the output power of the distributed power source 2. There is provided a power supply system in which a user can easily determine an optimum method of consuming power obtained by discharging a power storage portion. The power supply system (1) includes: a power storage portion (11) that supplies a power by discharge; a dischargeable time prediction portion (55) that predicts, when a power is supplied to a predetermined load among a plurality of loads included in the load portion (31), a dischargeable time that is a time period in which the power storage portion (11) can perform discharge; and a notification portion (70) that notifies a user of the dischargeable time predicted by the dischargeable time prediction portion (55). The dischargeable time prediction portion (55) predicts a plurality of dischargeable times in which combinations of loads receiving power supply are different and the notification portion (70) notifies the dischargeable times.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate fluctuations in a load and a distributed power supply into frequency bands, enables a load following operation, and compensate a rapid load fluctuation and a power fluctuation hardly followed. SOLUTION: A power system 11 is connected to a wind force power generating facility 15, a solar photovoltaic power generating facility 16 as a natural energy power supply 10 and a power load 17 through a main bus bar 13 and an auxiliary bus bar 14. A total power calculating section 19 sums power from the natural energy power supply 10, and calculates the total power. The main bus bar 13 is connected to a power storage apparatus 22 comprising an engine power generator 21 and a secondary battery as the distributed power supply for implementing the load following operation through the auxiliary bus bar. A deviation between a load power detection value and a setting of power received by a system linking point is separated into a low frequency component and a high frequency component by a low pass filter 27. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both a function of load leveling operation in day and night and a function of smoothing short-time power fluctuations, and to reduce the number of charging and discharging cycles. SOLUTION: The power of a power system 11 is supplied to a power load 13 and a power storage device 14 via a bus 12. The bus 12 is connected to the power load 13 via a breaker 15, while the bus 12 is connected to the power storage device 14 via the breaker 16 and a series circuit of a bidirectional converter 17. The bidirectional converter 17 is controlled by the current controller 25 for the bidirectional converter. The short-time power fluctuations of the power load 13 detected by a power detector 18 is detected by a load fluctuation detection device 20, and the detected value is supplied to the upper and lower limit limiter 21 of load fluctuation compensation amount. The limiter upper and lower limit value of the upper and lower limit limiter 21 is set to a value wherein a target value is within the capacity of the bidirectional converter 17 without executing discharging in a charge time zone and charging in a discharge time zone.
