Joint Transmit/Receive MMSE-FDE for MIMO Analog Network Coding in Single-Carrier Bi-Directional Relay Communications

TL;DR: A joint transmit/receive frequency-domain equalization (FDE) based on minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) analog network coding (ANC) in single-carrier (SC) bi-directional relay communications is proposed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Transmit FDE weight design for single-carrier space-time block coded joint transmit/receive diversity

TL;DR: By theoretical analysis and computer simulation, it is shown that the optimal transmit FDE weight design can achieve 1/RSTBC times higher signal-to-interference plus noise power ratio (SINR) than the previous design, where RSTBC denotes the STBC coding rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Signal-Carrier Cooperative DF Relay Using Adaptive Modulation

TL;DR: It is shown by computer simulation that the use of adaptive modulation can achieve higher throughput than fixed modulation and reduces by about 9 dB the required normalized total transmit SNR for a 10%-outage throughput of 0.8 bps/Hz compared to direct transmission.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Linearly distributed antenna diversity using single frequency network for high-speed railway communications

TL;DR: In this paper, frequency-domain space-time block coded-joint transmit/receive diversity (FD-STBC-JTRD) is employed as SFN linearly distributed antenna diversity and it is confirmed by computer simulation that FD- STBC- JTRD is a powerful diversity to improve the transmission performance under a high mobility environment.
