Inflation and the finance–growth nexus
TL;DR: In this article, the authors re-investigates whether there exist inflation thresholds in the finance-growth linkage and find strong evidence of a nonlinear inflation threshold in the relationship, below which financial development exerts a significantly positive effect on economic growth, while, above which, the growth effect of finance appears to be insignificant.

The Effect of Growth Volatility on Income Inequality
TL;DR: The authors assesses the long-run effect of growth volatility on income inequality using a comprehensive panel of annual U.S. state-level data during the 1945 to 2004 period, finding overwhelming evidence supporting the hypothesis that larger growth volatility positively and significantly associates with higher income inequality.
