Prediction of lattice constant in cubic perovskites

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the regularities of lattice constant in ideal perovskites using a total of 132 ABX3-type compounds, including oxides and halides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formability of ABO3 cubic perovskites

TL;DR: In this paper, the octahedral factor (rB/rO) and tolerance factor (t) of cubic perovskites in complex oxide systems are investigated. And the regularities governing cubic pervskites formability are obtained by using empirical structure map constructed by these two parameters, on this structure map, sample points representing systems of forming and non-forming are distributed in distinctively different regions.

Method for preparing SiC particle reinforced foamed aluminium radical composite material

TL;DR: In this paper, a preparing method for a SiC particle reinforced foam aluminum based composite was proposed, which comprises the following procedures: taking by mass among the total alloy amount 1-3% Mg, 6-8% Si and remainder Al, heating 10-20% SiC particles to melt into molten aluminum alloy, carrying out electromagnetic agitating evenly; adding 1- 3% foaming agent by mass, after agitating the foam agent, keeping temperature and foaming 3-5 minutes; cooling after the molten aluminum grows steadily so as to cool and solidify the

Boron nitride composite paint for precise invested mold casting of titanium and titanium alloy

TL;DR: The composite boron nitride paint has the features of high floatability, easy maintenance and simple preparation process as discussed by the authors, and belongs to the field of nonferrous metal casting technology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reaction between Ti and boron nitride based investment shell molds used for casting titanium alloys

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction between a Ti-6Al-4V alloy and boron nitride-based investment shell molds used for investment casting titanium was investigated by electron probe micro-analyzer (EPMA) and microhardness tester.
