TL;DR: In this article, the authors focused on elderly individuals with cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) under single-task walking (STW) and dual task walking (DTW) conditions and found that the symmetric and bilaterally coordinated human gait pattern found in healthy individuals is absent in individuals with neurological ailments such as Parkinson's disease (PD), Alzheimer's disease and post-stroke issues.
