A control system for controlling motion of a pallet truck vehicle includes three modes of operation for controlling coasting of the vehicle. In a first, constant pressure mode, the vehicle coasts for as long as an activation button is depressed. In a second, time controlled mode, the vehicle coasts for a predetermined period of time. In the third, distance controlled mode, the vehicle coasts for a predetermined distance. Each of these functions can be activated from a remote location using a remote activation device.

A concrete finishing apparatus and method for smoothing and flattening partially cured concrete to a close-tolerance surface includes a movable unit which is movable and entirely supported on or over a partially cured concrete surface and at least one rotatable finishing member, such as a cylindrical tube, roller or the like, mounted to the movable unit. The rotatable finishing member is positioned at the partially cured concrete surface and rotatable to engage and finish the surface of the partially cured concrete to a high quality, close-tolerance flat and level concrete floor surface. The rotatable finishing member is preferably rotatable in a direction generally opposite to the direction of travel of the movable unit to enhance the finishing process and to carry any cement paste or residue forward with the finishing member to fill in any low areas as the concrete finishing apparatus moves over the partially cured concrete.

Concrete finishing apparatus

A method and apparatus for screeding post tensioned concrete slabs includes providing a screeding device (10) having a wheeled support (12) having a frame portion (30) and spaced apart wheels (34) rotatably mounted to the frame portion. The screeding device has a screed head (14) mounted to the wheeled support. The screed head includes a vibrating member (18) and a grade setting device (16) adjustably mounted to the vibrating member. The vibrating member is at least partially supportable on the uncured concrete surface, and the grade setting device is adjustable relative to the vibrating member to strike off excess uncured concrete in front of the vibrating member to establish the desired grade or level of the uncured concrete. The screed head may be pivotable relative to the wheeled support about a longitudinal pivot axis (20a) extending along the screeding device and in the direction of travel of the screeding device.

A screeding machine comprising at least one of (a) a boom speed cruise control for automatically controlling the travel speed of the screed head assembly, (b) an auto-stabilizer control that automatically adjusts the stabilizer actuators of the screeding machine to a preselected degree of extension, (c) a control for automatically controlling the lowering of the screed head assembly toward and to the concrete surface and automatically activating the auger and vibrator at a beginning of each screeding pass and automatically deactivating the auger and vibrator in response to the screed head assembly being raised away from the concrete surface at the end of a screed pass, and (d) an auto-screed mode that allows the operator to select maximum values for at least one of a boom extension speed, a boom retraction speed, a boom rotation speed and a screed head rotation speed.

Apparatus and method for improving the control of a concrete screeding machine

The invention discloses a concrete laser leveling machine which comprises a laser emitter, a machine frame, a connecting frame assembly, a vibration scraper assembly, a traveling mechanism, a hydraulic system, an electric generator, an engine, a level sensor, a control system and a laser receiver, wherein the connecting frame assembly is connected with the machine frame; the vibration scraper assembly is connected with the connecting frame assembly; the traveling mechanism, the hydraulic system, the electric generator, the engine, the level sensor and the control system are arranged on the machine frame; the laser receiver is arranged on the vibration scraper assembly; the connecting frame assembly comprises a connecting frame and a draw bar assembly; one end of the connecting frame is hinged with the machine frame, and the other end of the connecting frame is hinged with the vibration scraper assembly; the draw bar assembly is hinged between the machine frame and the vibration scraper assembly; and the middle part of the connecting frame is hinged with one end of a piston rod of an arm-lifting power cylinder, and the other end of the arm-lifting power cylinder is hinged with the machine frame. The concrete laser leveling machine disclosed by the invention realizes the simultaneous completion of a scraping process and a vibrating process, has the advantages of high construction efficiency, high precision, high quality and the like, and is simple to operate.

Concrete laser leveling machine

A wheeled screeding device includes a wheeled support having a frame portion supported by at least one wheel, with the at least one wheel defining an axis of rotation. A screed head is mounted to the frame portion and is balanced such that the screed head is at least partially supportable on an uncured concrete surface. The screed head is adapted to impart a force onto the uncured concrete surface. An adjustment device may be operable to adjust a balance of the wheeled support about the axis of rotation to adjust the force imparted by the screed head. The screed head may be pivotable about an axis generally normal to the axis of rotation of the wheel and relative to the at least one wheel to adjust an angle of the screed head relative to the axis of rotation of the wheel.

Apparatus for screeding uncured concrete surfaces

A wheeled screeding apparatus includes a vibrating member adjustably mounted at an end of a frame portion of a wheeled support, with the vibrating member at least partially supporting the end of the frame portion. The vibrating member is generally vertically adjustable relative to the frame portion to adjust a level of the vibrating member relative to the wheeled support. A level control is operable to automatically adjust the vibrating member relative to the frame portion in response to an output of a level sensor, with the level control automatically adjusting the vibrating member relative to the frame portion to substantially maintain the frame portion at a desired orientation relative to horizontal as the screeding device is moved over and through the uncured concrete in a screeding direction.
