Structural and textural relationships of amphibole and phlogopite in peridotite inclusions, Dish Hill, California

TL;DR: The authors showed that amphibole and associated minerals are post-consolidation additions to the peridotite, unrelated to its original crystallization, and the presence of amphibole with the same textural relations in all types of peridodite, irrespective of their modal composition or degree of deformation and recrystallization.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the recovery of vegetation and compacted soil at the Wahmonie ghost town in southwestern Nevada, showing that soil compaction is a major limiting factor on the revegetation of disturbed desert areas.
