TL;DR: A new naturally occurring phenanthrene-1,4-quinone, annoquinone-A, along with parietin (physcion) and β-sitostenone were isolated from the stem bark of Annona montana and demonstrated potent antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus luteus and cytotoxicity in the tissue culture assay.

TL;DR: In this paper, the root root of rhinacanthus nasutus has been investigated and two new dimethyldihydropyranonaphthoquinone esters (5, 6) and eight new 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoequinone (7-14) were isolated.
